Our Story
We met in the Dominican Republic when Alexis went on a holiday for her 21st birthday. Dave was on tour in Haiti with the Canadian forces when he had 4 days rest and relaxation in the Dominican. After meeting Dave and Alexis would hang out in the hotel bar and went on a snorkeling trip with some other people. Each of us went our seperate ways and said that we would keep in touch. When Dave returned to Canada emails were flying back and forth. For the next 6 months Alexis visited Canada and Dave went to the UK for holidays. Dave then left the military to come and live in the UK with Alexis whilst she completed her schooling. In October 2006 Dave and Alexis went on holiday to meet Daves family in California. When in Santa Barbara David took Alexis on a cliff top walk at sunset when he proposed. Luckily Alexis said yes!! David and Alexis then moved to Canada to spend the rest of their lives together. At Christmas 2007 the wedding plans started and here we are..........
